| It appears that our site suffered a pretty serious crash last week that
kept it down for several days. It looks like everything is back up and running now though. We've
also received the new SDKs from Microsoft for the Pocket PCs so we're starting our porting
work today and should have beta versions available of most of our applications in the next

| We have had a lot of customers asking when we will be releasing Pocket
PC versions of our applications. We are going to port our applications over to
the new operating system on the Pocket PCs as soon as Microsoft sends us the new
developement tools that are needed to do the port. In the mean time, even though the
applications don't support some of the new User Interface 'widgets' in Windows CE v3.0, we
have tested almost all of our applications on the new Pocket PCs and they will work
properly until the new versions become available.

| Released v2.5 build 1 of Display Colors
Applet. We've fixed some reported bugs in this release including the problem with the
scrollbars always being black after you've changed to any color scheme other than the
default color scheme. Release v1.5 build 2 of SoundWidget.
We've made it much easier to unload this version of SoundWidget by adding a 'Menu' button
to the main dialog. |

| Released v3.0 build 1 of Grundle Explorer.
This release adds better integration with the Input Panel on Palm-size PC versions and the
ability to manually enter path names in the Status Bar. We've also fixed a couple
problems with the Binary data type editing in RegEditCE and
released v2.5 build 6. |

| Released Storage Card Applet v2.6 build 1.
I've added an Advanced Configuration dialog that allows users to tell the Storage Card
Applet the folder name(s) for the installed storage cards. This was added to allow users
to force the applet to detect their storage cards if for some reason the applet cannot
automatically detect the storage cards installed on the device. This should solve the
problems reported on certain devices with some cards that we are not detecting properly. |

| Released Grundle Explorer v2.5 build 4.
I've fixed several reported problems when trying to delete read-only files and files that
reside in ROM. Grundle Explorer will now allow you to delete read-only files (after
prompting), and it will also inform you if you have selected files that reside in ROM for
deletion. I've also fixed a bug where selected files would be removed from the current
list of files even if the files were not actually deleted. |

| Released a new version of Display Colors
Applet that addresses the following items: Added color Palm-size PC Notes dialog
when the colors are set. This dialog informs the user of the currently limitations for
color Palm-size PC devices.
Also, fixed a bug that was causing the 'Default' colors to not be restored correctly on
some devices Palm-size PC devices. Now choosing the 'Default' color scheme on those
devices will restore the REAL default color scheme. |

| Grundle Explorer v1.5 Build 6 Final Beta is now
available on the Beta page. Here is a list of changes: Added
the option to choose whether or not to restore the last wildcard used and the last
directory used the next time the application runs.
I now restore the current view (large icon, small icon, list, details, etc) the
next time the application runs. |

| Grundle Explorer v1.5 Build 5 beta is now available on the Beta page. Here is a quick list of fixes. Save/restore
the state of the Cool Bar. The size and location of the Cool Bar is now saved and restored
between program sessions.
Save/restore the last folder being browsed. Now when you run Grundle Explorer it
takes you back to the last folder you were exploring.
Fixed some small paint problems with the buttons on the Cool Bar. |

| Grundle Explorer v1.5 Build 4 beta is now available on the Beta page. Here is a quick list of fixes. Changed
shortcut creation to remove old file extension before adding .lnk to the shortcut name. I
also prepend the shortcut name with 'Shortcut to' by default. The shortcut prepend string
can be changed in the options dialog.
Fixed a small bug that could have prevented a new shortcut from being displayed
in the folder right after it is created. |

| Grundle Explorer v1.5 Build 3 beta is now available on the Beta page. Here is a quick list of fixes. Fixed size
of property sheet on the Palm-size PC. Now you can see the OK and Cancel buttons on the
sheet when you are viewing the properties of a file / directory.
Added a Properties button to the coolbar. Now you can quickly get to the
properties pages.
Increased performance over 60% when building the directories. This
is NOTICEABLE! |

| I just finished adding Shortcut support to Grundle Explorer v1.5
build 2 beta on the Beta page. Yes, you can now
create shortcuts in any folder by selecting 'Paste Shortcut' after you have selected
'Copy' on any file(s). Also, using the Properties dialog you can now go into the shortcut
dialog and edit the target. Finally! A way to launch a file and pass in command line
parameters.
Anyway, take a look at the beta page and let me know how it goes... |

| I've release Grundle Explorer v1.5 build 1 beta on the Beta page. Here is what I've added: After much
prodding I have ported Grundle Explorer over to the H/PC platform. While it was originally
designed to take the place of a missing Microsoft Explorer (since there is no Microsoft
Explorer on the Palm-size PC) there IS some value in having this as a tool in addition to
the Microsoft Explorer because it allows you to filter out items in the storage system
that you don't want to see (by wildcard and file type (RAM/ROM)).
I also just added File Properties which will allow you to view and change the
attributes of the files on the storage system (only one at a time for now...).
I'm looking into adding other features still that have been requested, but I
wanted to get this out to those that have been patiently awaiting an updated version.
Please download this version and take a look and send me any feedback you have. |

Fixed some display bugs in the stand-alone version of Storage Card
Applet (now version 2.0 build 3). The registration email address was not displaying
properly in the About Box and there was some garbage text that was being displayed where
the stats for the second storage card should have been.
NOTE: You do NOT need to download this if you have the previously released free
version (v1.6) because that version did not have the problem, and in fact the new versions
of Storage Card Applet from 2.0 and up will not work with your SpaceHogCE registration
number. |

| Oops. 4:00am is just a little too late to be staying up doing
builds. I just noticed that the versions of RegEditCE and PocketSwap had a couple problems
that I have remedied. It seems that PocketSwap installed all of the files with the
Read-Only attribute set so in order to uninstall you needed to manually change all of the
attributes of the files it installed first. RegEditCE just wasn't installing properly at
all from the PC Install program. The stand-alone .CAB install would have worked fine
though. Anyway, I have fixed the problems and uploaded the new files to the Web. |

no longer continue to use my dialup account with my current ISP (they didn't like the
bandwidth that our Windows CE pages were using so I was (very politely) asked to either

Anyway, welcome to the new site, and remember, it's a new site, and a new name, but it's
the same great software! |
